Vaudreuil-Soulanges Chamber of Commerce and Industry
A second successful political meeting for the CCIVS
Some 85 people attended this Tuesday the second political meeting organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CCIVS).
In addition to business people from the region, several municipal councilors were present, as well as the prefect of the MRC of Vaudreuil-Soulanges and mayor of the Municipality of Rivière-Beaudette, Patrick Bousez.
The event which took place in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot allowed guests to learn more about the achievements and future projects on the territory of Île Perrot.
In turn, the mayor of Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, Danie Deschênes, as well as the mayors of the towns of L'Île-Perrot, Terrasse-Vaudreuil and Pincourt, Pierre Séguin, Michel Bourdeau and Claude Comeau , drew up a portrait of their respective territory.
A discussion panel moderated by the general director of the CCIVS, Mathieu Miljours, also made it possible to learn more about the economic issues, more particularly in terms of business development, in each of the cities.
“The topics covered focused on the different territorial issues, it is necessary to grasp the modes of operation of municipalities and understand the concerns of economic actors, and it is all the more important to discern the subtlety of the links between the world of politics and the business community in light of the characteristics and needs of each territory,” underlined Mathieu Miljours, general director of the CCIVS.
