Saint-Lazare softball player Léa Chevrier will continue her university career with the Miami University Club Softball Redhawks in the state of Ohio. She will therefore be playing in the 1st division of the NCAA Softball.

Currently in her second year with the Florida-based South Western Buccaneers, Léa Chevrier has no fewer than 13 wins and zero losses this season.

It was with this team that the star pitcher became the first Quebecer to win the NJCAA Division 1 World Series in 2023.

Léa Chevrier has been a member of Softball Québec's Équipes du Québec de balle rapide féminine program for a number of years, winning a silver medal at the 2022 Canada Games.
