Héma-Québec will be visiting the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region several times over the next week to hold blood drives. Those interested in taking part can already make an appointment to donate. 

Here are the upcoming clinics: 

Les Cèdres: 

Date: Monday, March 18, 1:30 to 7:30 p.m; 

Location: Pavillon récréatif des bénévoles (145 rue Valade); 

Donation goal: 100; 

Vaudreuil-Dorion: 

Date: Monday, March 18 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm; 

Location: Opticentre St-Jean-Baptiste (145 boulevard Harwood); 

Goal: 80 donations;

Saint-Lazare: 

Date: Tuesday, March 19 from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m; 

Location: Saint-Lazare Community Center ( 1301 rue Du Bois); 

Goal: 80 donations;

We recommend that you make an appointment to donate blood. However, if you happen to be passing by a blood drive and are available to donate, don't hesitate to check with the team on site to see if they can accommodate you.

Before giving blood

In the hours leading up to your blood donation, we recommend that you drink a minimum of 500 ml of water or juice and eat well, avoiding fatty foods. To facilitate blood collection, wear loose-fitting clothing with sleeves that can be rolled up above the elbow.

You should also carry your donor card or proof of identity.
