The Tel-Aide listening center, Suroît region, and its Board of Directors, announce the appointment of Ms. Marie-Claude Gareau as Director. Ms. Gareau, a clinical sexologist by training, developed and directed the L'Accueil pour Elle organization for 32 years.

She also worked for the Fédération des maisons d'hébergement pour femmes for 5 years. Ms. Gareau's expertise in working with victims of violence and in managing an organization 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, will be invaluable assets in carrying out the organization's projects.

Over the years, Ms. Gareau has developed a great deal of humanity and respect for people's needs, both with different clienteles and with employees and volunteers. She has worked in partnership with various organizations, always with the aim of defending the rights and interests of abused women and children, respecting the mission and making the organization shine.

It is with great respect and enthusiasm that Marie-Claude Gareau is welcomed to the helm. The organization is confident that she will be able to pursue the mission of Tel-Aide région du Suroît and contribute to its development.
