According to the Info-pannes digital tool available on Hydro-Québec's website, Montérégie is the region most affected by power outages caused by the bad weather of recent hours. In Vaudreuil-Soulanges, there were 47 outages, leaving 7,302 customers without power on the morning of Thursday, February 29. 

The Vaudreuil-Soulanges region was hit by rain, strong winds and a sudden cooling of the mercury late on Wednesday. As of this Thursday morning, the mercury stands at -27 degrees outside with the wind factor.
