Luciano Minisini Burke, 18, accused of causing a fire at the Vaudreuil-Dorion Walmart last Tuesday, will undergo a psychological evaluation at the Pinel Institute and remain in custody pending trial. The evaluation will determine whether or not he is fit to stand trial.

Arrested shortly after starting the fire in the Boulevard de la Gare business, the Hudson resident faces two charges: causing damage by fire to property knowing that individuals were in the business, and causing damage by fire.

According to information obtained by Sûreté du Québec spokesman Louis-Phillipe Ruel, Minisini Burke could face other charges in similar cases.

Luciano Minisini Burke will be back before Judge St-Arnaud at the Salaberry-de-Valleyfield courthouse on February 27.
