Saint-Lazare: babysitting courses offered during spring break
The training course - Moi, je garde - will be offered in Saint-Lazare on March 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., during spring break. This Canada Safety Council course is designed for young people aged 11 and over who are interested in babysitting, or who are already babysitters.
It covers babysitting responsibilities, prevention for children of all ages, basic childcare techniques, emergency response and first aid techniques such as CPR.
- You must be 11 years of age or older on the day of training
- For both residents and non-residents
- There will be one course in French and one in English
- A maximum of 30 participants is accepted per course
- Materials required: Pencil, cold lunch, a pair of shoes and a baby-sized doll/toy.
Registration
Thursday, February 1 to Friday, March 1 at noon.
The Accès Saint-Lazare Card is required for online registration for residents.
The cost is $40 and you can pay by credit card online. Debit cards and cash are accepted for in-person registration at the Service des loisirs reception desk (1301 rue du Bois).
