National Pizza Day: how do you like yours?

While in Europe it's celebrated in January, in America it's February 9 that has been named National Pizza Day. Inspired by National Pizza Day, Néomédia asks you this week: Do you like your pizza classic or bold?

Whether round or square, thin or thick crust, stuffed or not, pizza is undoubtedly one of the most comforting foods there is. What's more, it lends itself to every occasion: moving house, Friday night with the family, a hurried evening out, watching a movie or a sporting event.

Beyond the traditional toute-garnie or pepperoni and cheese, pizzerias have been striving for several years to offer a wide range of toppings, from anchovies and caramelized vegetables to goat's cheese and truffle oil. And we can't overlook the emergence of sushi pizzas and dessert pizzas with chocolate and marshmallows.
