Do you like your pizza classic or audacious?

While in Europe it's celebrated in January, in America it's February 9 that has been named National Pizza Day. 

Whether round or square, thin- or thick-crusted, stuffed or not, pizza is undoubtedly one of the most comforting foods there is. What's more, it lends itself to every occasion: moving house, Friday night with the family, a hurried evening out, watching a movie or a sporting event.

Beyond the traditional alldressed or pepperoni and cheese, pizzerias have been striving for several years to offer a wide range of toppings, from anchovies and caramelized vegetables to goat's cheese and truffle oil. We can't pass over in silence the appearance of sushi pizzas, and dessert pizza with chocolate and marshmallows.
