Virtual conferences on lung diseases available

Are you concerned by lung disease or sleep apnea? The Quebec Lung Association invites you to take part in free conferences or educational capsules offered by professionals. Family members and caregivers are welcome. You can register now.

The next conference will take place on March 19, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Who are self-help groups for?

Self-help groups are designed for people with various lung diseases, their family members and caregivers. Anyone affected by one or more lung diseases who wants to break the isolation and learn how to cope better with the disease is invited to participate.

Groups offered :

Lung disease support group - 8 Tuesday afternoons a year, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Educational lectures on various topics related to lung diseases, prevention, environmental causes, etc. 

- 1:30 p.m.: Start of educational lecture + question period. 

- After the question period, time permitting, there will be a period of exchange and sharing offered until 3:30 p.m.

Sleep apnea group - 8 Monday evenings a year from 7 to 9 p.m.

- Educational evenings including information capsules, Questions and Answers period until 9 p.m.

How it works

The host welcomes you to the virtual platform. She or he introduces the speakers and moderates the question period. What's more, during the informative and educational conferences presented by various professionals, you can ask questions to learn more about lung diseases. People who feel the need to express themselves can do so during the sharing periods.

If you've already registered, you'll receive an invitation including a description of the day's meeting and a login link on the morning of the meeting. Only one registration is required to receive the link giving you access to each meeting.
