"Cultive ton web" returns for 3rd edition
On Monday, the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi (CJE) de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is launching applications for the third edition of the Cultive ton web project.
This 10-week project, which will run from April 9 to June 11, 2024, will enable 12 young people aged between 16 and 35 to develop their digital skills. Through concrete tasks ranging from customer meetings, arborescence and text writing to online publishing, they will be able to learn or perfect their skills.
Accompanied by Philippe Corriveau from Tofubox, and supported by Stéphanie Gagnon, Project Manager/Youth Advisor, they will take part in weekly team meetings and consolidate their learning.
Since the launch of Cultive ton web, l'Atelier Paysan and the Fondation de l'hôpital de Vaudreuil-Soulanges have benefited from a redesign of their respective websites.
Organizations sought
The CJE Vaudreuil-Soulanges is currently looking for non-profit organizations or social economy enterprises in need of a redesign or the creation of a 3-5 page website, depending on their organization's needs.
As part of the project, the managers of the selected organization will meet with the young participants to clarify their needs and get the project off the ground. A basic site will be designed free of charge by the participants involved in the project. The new site will be up and running by June 2024, and following this launch, your organization will be required to pay annual hosting and platform fees of approximately $420 plus tax per year.
The deadline for applications is February 9. The selected organization will be announced in the following weeks. Full details and the application form are available on the CJE Vaudreuil-Soulanges website at cjevs.org.
