A prolific artist and Saint-Lazare resident, Maude Bernard has taken part in several group exhibitions organized by the library in recent years. This time, she presents her work as a solo artist. Multi-talented, her subjects are varied: the animal world, portraits and nature. She uses a variety of media to create her paintings, from pencil to acrylic. Her work exudes a rusticity and joie de vivre that quickly becomes infectious.
The exhibition is open to citizens of all ages, and can be admired free of charge during library opening hours: Tuesday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed Mondays.
An Accès Saint-Lazare card is not required for this activity. The vernissage will take place this Thursday, February 1, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., in the presence of the artist.
