The westbound closure of the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge, scheduled for the evening of Monday January 22 and postponed due to weather conditions, should finally take place this Tuesday evening and night, January 23. At least, that's what the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable has informed us in a public notice.

As a result, the obstruction will be in place from 10pm tonight until 5am on Wednesday, January 24. This is necessary to allow work to be carried out.
More specifically, marking work will be carried out on the westbound road structure. In its public notice, MTMD specifies that the Montreal-bound traffic lane will remain open.
Mobile snow clearing and signalling operations are planned, but will not require a complete closure.
