The Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot municipal council took advantage of its most recent regular meeting in January to support Perrotdamois Theodore Gallant in the pursuit of his sporting goals by awarding him financial assistance.

The cheque for $500 was presented to the athlete who will be taking part in the 58th Finale des Jeux du Québec, to be held in Sherbrooke from March 1 to 9. 

In 2023, with the Sud-Ouest wheelchair basketball team, the young man won the gold medal at the Jeux du Québec.
