Rivière-Beaudette celebrates winter on February 3

The Rivière-Beaudette Air de glace Festival will be held February 3, starting at 1 p.m. at the Centre des loisirs, located at 600, rue Léger in Rivière-Beaudette. A host of activities and interesting prizes to be won are on the program.

Here's the detailed program:

- Skating

- Snow tubing

- Family pedestrian rally with prizes: 1st prize worth $750; 2nd prize worth $500 and 3rd prize worth $250

- Games of skill

- Entertainment

- Trampoline Bungy

- Introduction to Winter Challenges

- Snow shooting

4 p.m.: The game master (prizes to be won)

5:30 p.m.: Just dance on giant screen

6:15 p.m.: Torchlight walk along the footpath

7:45 p.m.: Fireworks display

There will be bar service and street trucks available for a fee.
