EXO small bus involved in highway accident

A bus driver's day got off to a bad start earlier this morning. While driving a small EXO transport bus, the man lost control. He was on the ramp from Autoroute 30 to Autoroute 40 towards Rigaud. Although the collision was mainly material in nature, the ambulance was called to the scene. 

"The incident did not block traffic. According to our information, the vehicle hit a lamppost after leaving the road. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, as the driver reportedly fell. No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident," says Valérie Beauchamp, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec. 

Motorists wishing to plan their trips can visit Québec 511 to check on road conditions. On this Wednesday morning, traffic in Vaudreuil-Soulanges is difficult, notably due to the situation on the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge.
