Regroupement Etsy Vaudreuil-Soulanges, founded in 2019 with the mission of promoting local artisans, today announces a significant name change. From now on, it will be known as La Vitrine Vaudreuil-Soulanges. This transformation reflects the evolution of the team and its vision.

A brief history...

The team, made up of 7 volunteer members, has played a crucial role in promoting artisans from Vaudreuil-Soulanges and the surrounding area. Specializing in events to encourage local purchasing, they successfully organized 7 artisan markets, as well as 5 virtual markets during the pandemic. Initially associated with Etsy Canada, an online sales platform, the group held its first Fait in Quebec event with artisans who had an online store on this platform.

The group then decided to broaden its scope by opening its events to all local artisans, regardless of their presence on the Etsy platform. La Vitrine Vaudreuil-Soulanges now promotes a diversity of businesses, which visitors appreciate.

The name change thus represents a further step towards a more inclusive identity, defining itself as a true showcase for all the region's artisans. La Vitrine Vaudreuil-Soulanges is committed to representing and promoting the creative wealth of its members.

About the logo

The new logo, created by local artist Akorana, embodies the transition. The letters "S" intertwine to form the letters "V" and "S", symbolizing convergence and coming together. The design also evokes opposite directions coexisting harmoniously, reflecting the spirit of a shop window or market.

The hands linked in a spirit of mutual support underscore La Vitrine Vaudreuil-Soulanges' mission to help and represent local artisans. The simple, classic typography underlines the uniqueness and diversity of the artisans represented.
