Thousands of minor hockey players from Vaudreuil-Soulanges were in action this weekend as several tournaments were held.
In addition to the Pionniers de Soulanges, who lost 6-0 to Saint-Léonard-d'Aston's École secondaire La Découverte, at least three other local minor hockey associations were on the road this weekend.
The Hudson, Rigaud and Saint-Lazare Minor Hockey Association's M11C Hawks took top honors at the Saint-Laurent Tournament. The sports team remained undefeated throughout the event and was crowned champion at the end.
As for the Association de hockey mineur de Vaudreuil-Dorion, its representatives took part in the Tournoi Provincial de la Lièvre- AHMLG. They lost to Supporteurs Location La Sarre M11B 23-24 on Sunday, January 14, and will take home a finalist's banner.
Finally, the Soulanges Minor Hockey Association also had representatives at the Saint-Laurent Tournament. The M11 A team took top honors in its category, making the coaching staff and sports organization proud.
