Galerie Atelier Séguin Poirier welcomes you at the start of the new year for enamel-on-copper workshops, what they call the Art of Fire ! The gallery is located at 1037 chemin du Fleuve, in Les Cèdres.

You can organize solo, duo or small-group workshops by making an appointment during workshop hours, which are :

Wednesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and Saturday mornings, 10 a.m. to noon.

This creative activity allows you to learn, in a session of about 2 hours, the basics and technique of the Art of Fiire, i.e., enamel on copper as practiced by artist Séguin Poirier.

Once your work is finished, it will be fired in the enamel kilns. Firing takes 3-4 minutes, with temperatures ranging from 1500-2000 farhenheit.

After firing, registrants can leave the workshop with a work of art, either collective or personal, ready for framing. This work can also be framed on site.
