No resolutions for you in 2024
As the saying goes, new year, new me. A recent survey by Forbes showed that only 1% of people manage to keep their resolutions throughout the year.
The survey also revealed the most popular resolutions for 2024. Improving physical fitness topped the list, followed by improving finances, improving mental health, losing weight and improving diet. At the bottom of the list was improving performance at work.
In any case, among Néomédia Vaudreuil-Soulanges readers, making resolutions is not part of their plans for 2024. In fact, 64.7% of respondents said they wouldn't be making any.
Tied at 11.8%, readers intend to take more time for themselves and their loved ones, and to be more environmentally conscious.
Finally, getting back into shape and changing consumer habits were the resolutions chosen by 5.9% of respondents.
Whether you call them resolutions or goals, the important thing is to do what's right, first and foremost for yourself. And if after a few weeks your resolutions fall by the wayside, tell yourself that you can pick yourself up again next year.
