Two major initiatives launched in Hudson in 2024
In 2024, the Town of Hudson will be working on two important initiatives for culture and recreation. These are presented in La Voix d'Hudson, the municipal magazine. They are the Parks and Green Spaces Master Plan and the Cultural Policy.
In the case of the former, the Town will begin work on it in the coming months. For the uninitiated, a master plan defines the planning and management process for all current and future parks and green spaces. The plan will include an action plan and a provisional budget.
Residents are encouraged to participate in the creation of the master plan to ensure that it fully represents their needs and wishes in terms of parks, green spaces and recreational and sports infrastructures.
As for the cultural policy, it is currently being drawn up. The aim is to clearly define the role of culture in the municipality. It highlights the assets and opportunities available to the community, since these constitute major and essential levers for its development.
This process takes place over a 2-year period. During this time, the administration and the cultural policy advisory committee work together in tables and collect data through surveys and public consultation. This work will contribute to the writing of the cultural policy and its action plan.
