The Valleyfield Braves of the Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League announce, through General Manager David Rochon, a transaction with the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the Central Canadian Hockey League.

The Braves acquire forward Zachary Larocque (April 8, 2005) from the Pembroke Lumber Kings. In return, the Braves will pay the player's development fees (PDF). Larocque, a Saint-Zotique native, has played 15 games in the CCHL so far this season.

Larocque will be in uniform when the Braves visit Granby on Sunday.
