To alleviate the situation on the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge
New route on the Hudson-Montreal line starting Monday
Starting this Monday, two additional train circuits will be added to the Hudson-Montreal line to alleviate the current situation on the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge in Vaudreuil-Dorion.
For several weeks now, one lane of traffic has been open in each direction on the bridge, greatly complicating travel and increasing traffic congestion in the area and on nearby roads.
As a result, the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité Durable has implemented mitigation measures. These include free travel on certain bus and train routes.
Starting this Monday, two new routes will be added to the Hudson-Montreal line, as follows:
1- Departure from Hudson at 7:33 am;
2- Departure from Lucien-L'Allier at 6:05 p.m. and arrival in Hudson at 7:26 p.m;
In addition, free transfer tickets will be distributed starting Monday. Buses in the La Presqu'Île area remain free.
