A short police operation took place on the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge in Vaudreuil-Dorion at 4:20 am on Wednesday December 20. Few details were available at the time of writing. 

According to information provided by the Sûreté du Québec spokeswoman, one person was arrested. "There was no pursuit. The operation took place very quickly, in less than a minute," said Audrey-Anne Bilodeau. 

All indications are that the arrest may be related to a stolen car.
