With December gatherings and festivities fast approaching, CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest is inviting the public to make an appointment to get vaccinated. Seasonal flu and COVID-19 vaccines are available free of charge to the entire population. 

In addition, the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS) recently reminded the public of the importance of vaccinating more vulnerable people, particularly those aged 60 and over, to reduce the risk of complications.

Several appointments are still available at local service points in the Montérégie-Ouest region, notably in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield and Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Vaccines to protect against influenza and COVID-19 are particularly recommended for people at risk of developing complications if they contract these respiratory infections (especially the elderly, pregnant women and people living with a chronic illness), as well as for healthcare workers.
