Carrefour jeunesse-emploi unveils the Vocation en art laureates
On December 4, Carrefour jeunesse-emploi Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CJE-VS) celebrated the end of its annual Vocation en Art event. The evening was attended by some thirty people, including artists and jury members, in an atmosphere propitious to artistic exchanges and shared congratulations.
The participating artists had the opportunity to present their works, demonstrating the artistic talents present in the region.
During the evening, the juries - Marc-André Dostie, 3D animator, Nadine Bissonnette, Régisseure des loisirs et des communications, and Monika Brinkman, mosaic artist - awarded a prize to the artist whose creativity stood out the most. In addition, the public had the chance to vote for their favorite piece.
"To the talented young artists present, your passion shapes the future of art. Supporting your professional endeavors is an investment in the cultural development of all," emphasized Sihem Goudjil, youth project advisor and work-study balance project manager.
Félix Lanctôt won the unanimous vote of the jury, receiving well-deserved recognition and a cash prize of $200. Maxime Gomes captured the hearts of the public, winning the popular vote and a cash prize of $200. Finally, Wynter Bryant received a special mention from the jury and the public, coming in second place. His contribution was praised by all.
