Natalia Lanucha wins gold in singles and silver in doubles in Montreal
Wheelchair Pincourt tennis player Natalia Lanucha excelled at the ITF Bourassa Savaria tournament held in Montreal last weekend. She won gold in singles and silver in doubles! Natalia continues her momentum towards competing in the Summer Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024.
On her social medias, she mentioned: "I'm very happy to win my 2nd title in an ITF tournament in 2023. I was very focused on my objectives. My serve was better. I was able to concentrate and play as I had planned."
She'll be able to return to tournaments in 2024: "This was my last tournament of the year. It's been an exceptional year with a lot of tennis success. I loved every moment of it."
Natalia won the round of 16 at the Parapan American Games from November 17 to 26 in Santiago, Chile. She lost in the quarter-finals. More information on Natalia Lanucha can be found on her Facebook page, on the Tennis Canada website and in our previous articles.
