Create your own Christmas ornement at the regional museum
The Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges invites you to celebrate winter on Sunday, December 10 at 2 p.m., as part of the Four Seasons at the Museum art workshop series! In a festive atmosphere, the Museum invites you to create an old-fashioned Christmas ornament.
Whether you're alone, a couple, friends or family, you'll enjoy taking inspiration from one of the exhibition rooms to create your own visual arts production. This workshop is inspired by the exhibition Il en reste quelque chose... by artist Fabienne Legrand.
The works presented in this exhibition showcase seniors in portrait or in action, in all their beauty and wisdom. In a festive atmosphere, we invite you to create your old-fashioned Christmas ornament.
In keeping with the artist's approach, who works a great deal with memories, those who wish to do so can write a wish, a thought or draw a memory, which they can then hide inside the ball, or even place a small object inside.
The activity, which includes animation, materials, a snack and a visit to the Museum, is offered at a minimal cost.
For those who prefer to produce the ball at home, a take-home version is also available from December 10 to 22, 2023.
The kit includes materials and a link to a short video showing the production steps! Interested parties should complete the online form.
