Voting to take place in December
Five candidates in the Coteau-du-Lac by-election race
Citizens of Coteau-du-Lac's Elzéar-Deguire district will go to the polls on December 10 or 17 to elect their next representative at the municipal council table. There will be five candidates to choose from.
According to the public notice of the vote available on the Ville de Coteau-du-Lac website, the five citizens in the running are:
- Stéphane Boilard;
- Nathalie Clermont;
- André Legros;
- Michaël Pratte;
- Line Roussin;
Advance polling will take place on Sunday, December 10 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pavillon Wilson. Voting will take place one week later, on Sunday, December 17, at the Centre communautaire Georges-Jules-Beaudet, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Votes will be counted on site around 9pm.
Concerned citizens can validate their eligibility to vote by visiting: https://bit.ly/3QOwMUo. To vote, you must be registered on the electoral list.
To apply for registration, striking off or correction, or to consult the list of electors, you must go before the board of revisors at the following times and places:
- November 29, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m;
- December 2, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m;
- City Hall, 342 chemin du Fleuve
Two pieces of identification are required, one with the date of birth and the other with the voter's full name and address.
