On December 6, the Fédération de l'UPA de la Montérégie is inviting its members to take part in a rallying march in support of the next generation of farmers and the future of their farms, in conjunction with the UPA's annual general meeting.

Four starting points with buses available will be offered, including one in Beauharnois:

Beauharnois - 538 boulevard Cadieux, Beauharnois, QC J6N 0R5
Departure at 5:45 am / Return at 12:30 pm

Reserve your seats now on the buses that will take you to Quebec City. Snacks and lunch will be provided free of charge.

Last spring, the "Agriculture sous pression" (Agriculture under pressure) campaign was launched to call on the government to take urgent action to support agricultural and forestry producers in a difficult economic context. During the summer, chaotic weather conditions made Quebec's agricultural businesses even more vulnerable.

The convoy will leave from the Centre des congrès de Québec for the Hôtel du Parlement. UPA representatives will present a manifesto to parliamentarians.

UPA Montérégie looks forward to seeing many of you there. Whether you're an agricultural producer, a new generation of farmers, employees or partners in the industry, you're all welcome.
