On November 2, 2023, the Corporation des Fleurons du Québec unveiled the 18th horticultural classification of municipalities evaluated in 2023, and Rigaud was awarded 4 fleurons!
The Corporation des Fleurons du Québec specifies that 4 fleurons means: an excellent performance for outstanding horticultural beautification in most areas. Congratulations to the Ville de Rigaud.
The Fleurons du Québec recognize municipalities that contribute to the improvement of their environment by embellishing public spaces with horticultural landscaping.
This horticultural classification involves awarding a number of fleurons, from zero to five, to participating municipalities. The fleurons are awarded for a period of three years, accompanied by a professional evaluation report offering recommendations for further improving municipal greenery.
