Pointe-des-Cascades seeks new PAC member
The Municipality of Pointe-des-Cascades invites residents with an interest in architecture and urban planning to apply to join the the Planning Advisory Committee (PAC).
The Municipality is looking for a new member motivated to join the PAC. Governed by the Act respecting land use planning and development, the PAC's mandate is to study and submit recommendations to the municipal council on matters of land use planning and development.
The requests most frequently dealt with are those governed by bylaw 125-1 on Site Planning and Architectural Integration Programs (SPAIP) and requests for minor exemptions.
The PAC is composed of seven (7) members appointed by Council. The term of office is two years, with the possibility of renewal. Members agree to attend all meetings, a dozen per year. Meetings are held in the evening and members are not remunerated.
By-law number 2015-003-01, constituting a Planning Advisory Committee, is available for consultation at the Town Hall office, on the website or on request.
Interested candidates are invited to send their application, including a letter of interest, a curriculum vitae and relevant documents relating to the required experience and skills, to the attention of Mr. Alexandre Primeau, urban planner, at 105 chemin du fleuve, Pointe-des-Cascades (QC), J0P 1M0, or by e-mail to [email protected].
Applications must come from residents of the municipality and be received by December 11, 2023. Only selected candidates will be interviewed.
