Last chance to enter the Desjardins WinA-Scholarship contest for students
As usual, Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges is holding its GagneTaBourse.ca contest until November 30, offering local post-secondary students who are members of the financial institution the chance to win one of 50 bursaries totalling $60,000.
To register, participants simply visit www.gagnetabourse.ca. The winner will be determined by a hand-drawn draw on December 5 at 3 p.m., in the presence of witnesses, at the organizer's offices at the Centre de services St-Charles, 455 avenue Saint-Charles, Vaudreuil-Dorion.
Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received during the contest period, says Desjardins.
Since 2009, 800 students have won bursaries totalling over $1,040,000.
Dreams within reach
The Caisse's annual student bursary competition is made possible by the Community Development Fund. This fund comes from a portion of the individual member dividends that Caisse members agree to convert into collective dividends.
The Student Scholarship Contest is launched as part of Cooperation Week, to help thousands of young people not only succeed in their studies by taking advantage of scholarships, but also realize their dreams.
"The Caisse is proud to offer these bursaries to help students persevere in their studies, which will lead them to a promising future," says Pauline Thauvette-Leroux, President of the Board of Directors of Caisse Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
François Paquin, 2nd Vice-President and President of the Cooperation Committee at Caisse Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges, agrees. "The Caisse's cooperative distinction takes on its full meaning through this competition, which over the years has become a salutary reference in the heart of a promising student."
For his part, Caisse Desjardins Vaudreuil Soulanges General Manager Sébastien Laliberté invites young people to register in large numbers. "Participating in the Caisse's student bursary contest is quick and easy. Winning one of the 50 bursaries brings peace of mind. Good luck to all!"
