On the evening of Friday November 3, three Vaudreuil-Soulanges companies took top honors at the 131st Ordre national du mérite agricole competition, organized by the Quebec government.

This Sunday, November 5, in conjunction with Remembrance Day, the Town of Hudson hosted the traditional Remembrance Parade, which ended at Vimy Place, located at the Stephen F. Shaar Community Centre.

This Monday, November 6, at the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion Council meeting, Councillor Jasmine Sharma submitted a notice of proposal to amend the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Elected Officials of Vaudreuil-Dorion to include specific standards of civility.
Saint-Lazare awarded 4 "fleurons"
On November 1, the Corporation des Fleurons du Québec unveiled the 18th Horticultural Classification of Municipalities Evaluated in 2023, at an emotional evening held at the Sheraton in Saint-Hyacinthe. Ville de Saint-Lazare was honoured at the ceremony.
Nearly 110 people, mainly from the community sector in Vaudreuil-Soulanges, gathered at the Omnicentre in Pincourt on November 3 for the first Gala Reconnaissance de l'Action Communautaire Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

A new website for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital Foundation
The second edition of Cultive ton web 2.0, an initiative of Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi Vaudreuil-Soulanges, enabled the Fondation de l'Hôpital de Vaudreuil-Soulanges to completely overhaul its website. The project was piloted by Philippe Corriveau of Tofubox and a number of young people aged between 18 and 35.
A first strike in nearly 25 years for FIQ members
From midnight on November 8 to 11:59 pm on November 9, 80,000 nurses, nursing assistants, respiratory therapists and clinical perfusionists in Quebec, many of them from Vaudreuil-Soulanges, were on strike, a pressure tactic they haven't used in almost 25 years.

Choeur classique Vaudreuil-Soulanges celebrates its 60th anniversary
The Choeur classique Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CCVS) has offered a gift concert to fans and the general public at three different venues this autumn to celebrate 60 years of singing pleasure. On November 12 at 2 p.m., the choir will perform at the Saint-Télesphore church. He will also take part in the Galileo show on December 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Sainte-Rose-de-Lima church.
