The Town of Île-Perrot presents its 2023-2028 strategic plan. The result of a participatory approach and consultation with the town's stakeholders, this reference document aims to set Île-Perrot on the path to a bright future.

Employees, council, community organizations, corporate citizens and the citizens of L'Île-Perrot were consulted to develop the action plan. It defines the town's strategic identity, mission, vision, values and orientations for the next five years.

A real action plan

More than a structuring tool, L'Île-Perrot's 2023-2028 strategic plan suggests guidelines and concrete projects.

"With this reflection exercise, Île-Perrot marks a milestone in its history. This is our first five-year strategic plan, and I can confirm that it reflects the community of Île-Perrot, while adapting to the challenges of the day. This initiative is sure to make our beautiful city shine," said Pierre Séguin, Mayor of L'Île-Perrot.

"This plan builds on the strengths of our municipal team, which embodies the values of Will, Integrity and Partnership, in belonging to VIP. We consulted our stakeholders to make L'Île-Perrot a sustainable, lively, collaborative and efficient city," confirmed Nancy Forget, Director General of the Ville de L'Île-Perrot.

Four orientations and ten axes

From now until 5 years from now, the Town of L'Île-Perrot intends to prosper in a spirit of preservation, enhance its island setting, collaborate to serve the population and consolidate its organization.

These ambitions are presented in four orientations and ten axes in the 2023-2028 strategic plan:

ORIENTATION 1: Preservation-conscious development

- AXIS 1.1. Develop economic activity (businesses, services, entrepreneurship) by promoting revegetation

- AXIS 1.2 Diversify and densify the housing offer around transportation hubs;

ORIENTATION 2: A lively crossroads capitalizing on the territory's unique location (island)

- AXIS 2.1 Enhance the island's typical features as part of the city's appeal;

- AXIS 2.2 Encourage the development of urban activities ;

- AXIS 2.3 Improve mobility and road safety.

GUIDELINE 3: Collaboration for a better living environment

- AXIS 3.1 Strengthen ties with the community and its partners;

- AXIS 3.2 Pool the use of resources and equipment;

- AXIS 3.3 Develop the resilience of municipal infrastructures.

GUIDELINE 4: A constantly improving organization;

- AXIS 4.1 Assert ourselves as an efficient city;

Following in the footsteps of progress
