On October 27, as part of the Mystical Experience at Espace Saint-Hyacinthe, an immersive exhibition on the world of the invisible, the magazine BeW.I.T.C.H.TM, created, designed and edited by Zotique resident Geneviève Roberge, was launched.

This new French-language product, printed and distributed in several outlets across Quebec, is aimed at readers interested in deepening their knowledge of spirituality.

A graphic designer by profession, Geneviève Roberge has 23 years' experience in graphic and artistic design. Her professional experience includes working in the publishing world for TC Transcontinental and Rogers Médias.

"The creation of BeW.I.T.C.H.TM magazine stems from a personal need. When my personal spiritual awakening revealed itself to me, I couldn't find a source of information on the subject in Quebec. Having worked in publications all my life, I said to myself: 'If it doesn't exist here, I'll create it! "says Geneviève Roberge.

This specialized magazine aims first and foremost to provide a showcase for light workers, such as hypnologists, energy therapists, NLP coaches, human design specialists, etc., who provide care or services, as well as for the creators of products designed for spiritual practice. Artisans who, according to Geneviève, are still under-represented in the traditional media. BeW.I.T.C.H.TM magazine also aims to help people discover this parallel universe that surrounds us. "I wanted to plant a seed in the minds of those who are curious about the world of the invisible. I also wanted to create a platform in which the modern, self-assumed 'witch' could finally recognize herself", explains the project's creator.

As for the choice of name for the magazine, it's actually an acronym for Witchy, Intuitive, Tantric, Shamanic and Holistic Soul. In its entirety, the name is an invitation to embody one's individuality and light in order to live as one's full self.

A multi-dimensional magazine

What exactly will BeW.I.T.C.H.TM magazine contain? A multitude of topics relating to spirituality and mindfulness.Topics include crystals, essential oils, past lives, herbalism, white magic, astrology, energy, chakras, mediumship, tarot and more!Each issue will feature a personality who today embodies power and magic in their sphere of activity. The front page of the first issue features Fairouz and Ody, two Quebec entrepreneurs well known in the spiritual world, and authors of the oracles Intuition & Action and Les Messagères, among others. The editorial team will also present suggestions for further reading and podcasts, as well as their current favorites.

The magazine is currently on sale in some 15 outlets across Quebec, mainly spiritual boutiques and wellness centers. In the Montérégie region, for example, the magazine can be found at Centre Subsatori (Salaberry-de-Valleyfield), Librairie Ramtha (Salaberry-de-Valleyfield) and l'Arbre de vie (Beauharnois). It is also available online at bewitchmag.ca for home delivery. From now on, interested parties can take advantage of the annual subscription, with four issues per year.The next edition will be available in May 2024, becoming a quarterly publication.
