Vaudreuil-Dorion students' creativity reaches as far as Trois-Rivières
Students from elementary school Hymne-au-Printemps in Vaudreuil-Dorion are bringing their talent to Trois-Rivières until early 2024. They are presenting their contemporary quilt project entitled Assembler notre diversité at the Musée POP for the Haut et Fort exhibition, which brings together several other schools across the province.
This initiative stems from the member schools of the Hémisphères network and the Culture pour tous organization, which aims to promote culture in all its forms.

The project was conceived and realized in collaboration with the Cercle de Fermières de Vaudreuil-Dorion, several local community organizations and visual and textile artist Tina Marais. Production was entrusted to Nathalie Côté.
The exhibition can be discovered free of charge via a virtual tour of HAUT ET FORT. Mobilizing, unifying and engaging, this multidisciplinary project is the culmination of work by students from 19 schools in the Hémisphères network, spread across 11 regions of Quebec.
The works presented here represent the culmination of a vast creative and mediation effort in the school environment that took place in 2022-2023. Guided by professional artistic resources from their region and actively involved in the creative process, young people were invited to express themselves on four major issues: diversity, the environment, peace and solidarity.
In Vaudreuil-Dorion, students from elementary school Hymne-au-Printemps presented six contemporary quilts, inspired by textile-related quotes and made from recycled materials, designed in collaboration with the Cercle de Fermières de Vaudreuil-Dorion, several local community organizations and visual and textile artist Tina Marais.
