On Wednesday, November 1, the Municipality of Saint-Polycarpe will be flushing its water system.

Flushing involves increasing the speed of circulation by changing the direction of flow in underground pipes in order to clean all the pipes in a sector, thereby maintaining the quality of drinking water distribution service.

This activity does not affect the quality of the water, which can continue to be safely consumed.

It may happen that the water is less clear when the taps or washing machine are first used. To correct this, simply run the cold water from all taps for a few minutes until the water becomes colorless again.
