Fill up on ornamental and edible plants on November 4 at Saint-Lazare
On Saturday, November 4, the City of Saint-Lazare will hold its fall harvest of ornamental and edible plants in its flowerbeds, and will share the fruits of this harvest with interested residents.
The free distribution will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Town Hall. No registration is required, but residents must have their Accès Saint-Lazare card in hand to take part.
Would you like to take part? Here are a few instructions to follow:
- Bring your reusable containers and bags;
- First come, first served;
- Residents only;
- Rain or shine.
The following plants are available:
- Echeveria (small, fat plant native to Mexico);
- Pumpkins;
- Squash;
- Swiss chard;
- Kale;
- Sweet potatoes;
- Lavender;
- Herbs (rosemary, parsley, lemongrass, sage, thyme, chives, mint, oregano, dill).
