LabGO, a simulation space that faithfully reproduces the workings of a high-performance information technology (IT) company, is now available at Cégep Gérald-Godin's Continuing Education department.

Initially conceived in conjunction with Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne and Cégep John Abbott, the project has been redesigned and moved to the premises of each of the founding institutions.

At Cégep Gérald-Godin, LabGO opens the door to candidates with basic programming skills combined with relevant work experience in Quebec or abroad, enabling them to showcase their achievements. Successful candidates will work in teams on real Web programming projects for local companies. They will be supervised by a team of highly qualified coaches, to perfect their technical and interpersonal skills.

The process is spread over a period of 9 to 12 months. Candidates will benefit from a stimulating work environment in recently renovated, state-of-the-art offices. The 35-hour-per-week work schedule alternates between face-to-face and telecommuting work.

At the end of the project, graduates will obtain an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in Web Technology Programming, combined with recent experience in Quebec.  Participants will be able to apply for positions as Web programmers and Web developers, professions offering excellent job prospects and very attractive salaries!

Financial support from Service Québec is available for those who meet the eligibility criteria. You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to participate in LabGO.
