Until October 28
Pumpkin contest in full swing on Île-Perrot
The Town of L'Île-Perrot is encouraging its residents to express their artistic talents. Whether with gouache or felt-tip pen, they'll have to show everyone their best decorated pumpkin during the pumpkin contest.
The winners will be announced this Saturday, October 28 at 4.30pm. Participants have until then to take part at the Bibliothèque Guy-Godin.
Here are the rules:
- Pumpkins must be intact, full and without cracks or holes;
- Empty pumpkins will not be accepted;
- All pumpkin sizes are accepted;
- Pumpkins may be picked up on Sunday, October 29, for use on October 31.
- Unclaimed pumpkins will be used to decorate the library's Halloween party.
Île-Perrot residents and others in the region are invited to come and see the pumpkins during opening hours and vote for their favourite.
