Succeeds Robert Racine
A new regional director for the Fédération de l'UPA de la Montérégie
The Fédération de l'UPA de la Montérégie is pleased to inform its members and partners of the appointment of Ms. Catherine Machado to the position of Regional Director. This appointment follows the announcement of Mr. Robert Racine's retirement on October 20.
Ms. Machado holds a bachelor's degree in agro-economics from Université Laval, a master's degree in business administration from Université de Sherbrooke, as well as a DEC in farm business management and operations from ITA Saint-Hyacinthe. She is an experienced manager, having held the position of General Manager with Groupe ProConseils, and then with VIA Pôle d'expertise en services-conseils agricoles. She possesses solid skills in financial management, administration, human resources and partnership development.
Ms. Machado is recognized for her leadership, determination and mobilization skills. Driven by a taste for challenge, her creativity, interpersonal skills and efficiency have enabled her to achieve ambitious organizational objectives.
The Fédération de l'UPA de la Montérégie is convinced that Ms. Machado's expertise, as well as her commitment and achievements in the agricultural sector, will make a significant contribution to the organization's influence and sustainability.
Ms. Catherine Machado's entry into the position has been gradual, since August 21.
