Following the resignation of Councillor David-Lee Amos, the City of Coteau-du-Lac must fill the position of Councillor for district #3 - Elzéar-Deguire. If more than one person applies for this position, a by-election will be held on December 17, and an advance polling day will be held on December 10.
Anyone wishing to stand as a candidate may do so from November 3 to November 17, 4:30 p.m., by contacting the returning officer, Chantal Paquette, at [email protected], or by calling 450 763-5822, ext. 225.
The Ville de Coteau-du-Lac invites interested parties to consult the municipal website at www.coteau-du-lac.com for more information on the by-election procedure. The returning officer is the best resource to answer any questions on this subject.
