A motorist on Route 201 in Coteau-du-Lac collided with the vehicle in front of him at around 5:45 pm. The collision occurred opposite civic address 28, route 201. 

The driver, who was seated in the car that was hit, suffered injuries as a result of the impact. He was taken to hospital. Coteau-du-Lac/Les Coteaux firefighters were called to the scene to assist the victim, as were CÉTAM paramedics and Sergeant Michel Legault of the Vaudreuil-Ouest station. 

During the intervention, which lasted about ten minutes, one of two lanes on Route 201 was opened to ensure the safety of the responders.
