From November 17 to 26 at the Parapan American Games
Natalia Lanucha, from Pincourt, will represent Canada in Santiago, Chile
Six wheelchair tennis players have been nominated to represent Canada at the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games, the Canadian Paralympic Committee and Tennis Canada announced today, including our very own Natalia Lanucha from Pincourt.
This is a very important step in Natalia's journey, as she hopes to make it to the Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024. Let's just say she's off to a good start.
Parapan American gold medallist Rob Shaw will lead the largest Canadian wheelchair tennis contingent to compete at a multisport Games in Chile.
Rob Shaw, Mitch McIntyre, and Thomas Venos previously competed at the 2019 Parapan American Games in Lima. Anne-Marie Dolinar, Barry Henderson and Natalia Lanucha will be making their multisport debut.
The Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games will take place from November 17 to 26 in Santiago, Chile.
In the meantime, Natalia, an example of resilience and perseverance, continues to train and is pursuing her socio-financing campaign via GoFundMe to help secure her path to the various competitions. To get involved, visit https://www.gofundme.com/f/
