In Les Coteaux and Coteau-du-Lac
Two upcoming roadblocks this week on routes 201 and 338
The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable is advising road users that two roadblocks will be in place over the next few days in the Coteau-du-Lac and Les Coteaux areas.
The first roadblock will take place this Wednesday, October 4, on Route 338 at the railroad tracks. Specifically, the obstruction will be placed on the culvert between Provost Street in Les Coteaux and Vieux-Canal Road in Coteau-du-Lac, and will remain in place until Friday, October 6.
This operation is necessary to carry out geotechnical surveys near a culvert. For the duration of the operation, one lane will be obstructed, with traffic alternating between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., using flagmen.
The second roadblock is scheduled for this Friday, October 6, on Route 201 in Coteau-du-Lac. It will be located on the Monseigneur-Langlois bridge over the Soulanges Canal between 10 am and 3 pm. It is necessary to allow inspection of the structure with access equipment. For the duration of this operation, one lane of traffic will be cut off in one direction at a time.
The MTQ specifies that the time of obstruction may vary according to the duration of the inspection.
