From October 7 to 31, between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., the public is invited to visit Harwood Nature Park (3900, route Harwood) to discover an evolving trail using a free mobile app. On October 28 and 29, participants will be treated to additional activities.

"We're delighted to once again offer original Halloween programming in a different location from previous years. Harwood Nature Park is a magnificent site that deserves to be exploited.

"Its layout lends itself well to the concept proposed by Parcours Ludiques, a forest sheltering the evil spirits of Halloween. We're hoping that people will turn out in large numbers to enjoy the experienceI," says Vincent Bastien, Director of the Leisure and Culture Department.

Guided by a mobile application, adventurers will make their way along the course, taking on challenges and solving puzzles. To participate, only one Internet-enabled smartphone per group is required. Simply download the free Parcours Ludiques app, available on the app Store or Google Play, and enter the access code VAUD123.

Lasting around an hour, this tour can be completed rain or shine. In case of rain, however, an umbrella and waterproof boots are recommended. For evening tours, participants should bring a headlamp or flashlight.

Special program on October 28, from 2 to 5 p.m. - 6 to 9 p.m., and October 29, from 1 to 4 p.m.

On these days, the atmosphere of Harwood Nature Park will be enhanced by the presence of curious characters and storytellers. The Mummy, the Illuminated Witch, the Stone Angel and the Giant Skeletons will roam the site to meet visitors.

Caravane Mozaïk will be on hand to hold a Halloween bag-decorating workshop. Those interested in participating should bring a bag or pillowcase. There will also be a face-painting station for children. Free candy and hot drinks will be available.

The complete Halloween program is available online on the Vaudreuil-Dorion's website in the Recreation and Culture section, under Activities and Events.
