Road accident in Saint-Polycarpe early this morning

At 6:45 this morning, Saturday September 23, a young motorist on Montée Cholette in Saint-Polycarpe missed a 90-degree turn. Fortunately, the young woman escaped without too much harm.
For those unfamiliar with the area, Montée Cholette is a gravel road that crosses fields and links Saint-Polycarpe to Ste-Justine-de-Newton.
Sûreté du Québec police officers, Saint-Polycarpe firefighters and paramedics assisted the unfortunate victim following the accident. The shaken victim was taken to hospital with injuries that the police said were not life-threatening.
