Beer, sauerkraut and sausage lovers will be in for a treat in the coming weeks as Vaudreuil-Soulanges vibrates to the rhythm of Oktoberfest.

Originating in Germany, Oktoberfest has been celebrated for over 200 years and is best known as the festival of beer. 

Fortunately, for the people of Vaudreuil-Soulanges, it's no longer necessary to fly to Germany to enjoy the celebrations. 

Here are a few suggestions from Tourisme Vaudreuil-Soulanges for celebrating Oktoberfest at home.

Village des Écluses - until October 28

For the second year running, the Village des Écluses is offering a new local tradition with its Oktoberfest: a great autumn party every weekend from mid-September to the end of October!  

The program promises great beers, great food and great music with guest artists, all on this magnificent waterfront site.

Perodam Microbrasserie solidaire - until October 3

The Perodam microbrewery in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot is offering a special Oktoberfest promotion, combining good beer and pretzels! A classic!

It's the perfect opportunity to try their new creation for the occasion, BREZEL, a German Pilsner. As for the famous pretzels, they come from the local Des Rosiers bakery.

Microbrasserie Cardinal - until October 14

Microbrasserie Cardinal invites you to its Oktoberfest Saturdays! A variety of artists and musical groups will be on hand. German beer will be featured, including the Oktoberfest Märzen inaugurated at the 2022 event.

You'll also find a different food offering every Saturday, from partner businesses such as Le Furley, Gâto MTL, Restaurant Sauvé, Embers, and more!
