At their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 19, Saint-Zotique's elected officials awarded a contract to Coteau-du-Lac-based Jeux-Tec to improve several of its green spaces.

The agreement between the Town and the regional company is worth $201,009.18. "Nearly half of this amount, or about $100,000, will be invested in Marcel-Léger Park to improve the experience of citizens who visit it. Some eight parks will share the money. We'll be adding various elements such as benches, umbrellas and new play modules" said Mayor Yvon Chiasson following the public meeting.
